Join our dynamic team as a Vendor Manager (m/f/d) responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing, negotiating and maintaining partnerships with key suppliers, respected brands and capable manufacturers within the Catering Accessories & Cookware category. In this role, you will play a key role in the maintenance of superior standards of quality and value for our esteemed B2B customer base.
Your primary responsibility will be to effectively curate and promote the Catering Accessories & Cookware  segment within the metro.de marketplace by cultivating and managing relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring seamless collaboration across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set-up, develop and maintain relationships with relevant key player/ brands of the industry in the field of “Catering Accessories & Cookware”
  Correct (Cookware, Kitchen utensils, Chef Knives and Bakeware for Commercial + HoReCa use)
• You will be leading supplier/partner negotiations and managing contracts with high class brands to ensure optimal pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization within your assigned categories.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends.
• Analysis of all relevant KPIs with clear responsibility in managing sales, turnover and profitability
• Strategic planning and implementing of category growth.
• Planning, coordination, and control of advertising campaigns for your category in close cooperation with supporting departments such as Marketing, Promotion and Demand Planning teams.
• Close cooperation with the Vendor Support, Demand Planning and Supply Chain and ERP departments.
