We are looking for an Import Supply Planner (MIS) (m/f/d)
We are seeking an Import Supply Planner (MIS) with a proven track record in supply chain and planning, to join our driving Supply Planning team.
In this role you will be responsible for replenishment of the warehouse goods, liaising with one of main Metro Supplier in Europe - focusing on development and collaboration with Metro International Supplier, developing inventory replenishment strategy for Own Brands, improving inventory replenishment tools and strategy, managing potential supply chain risks, monitoring and optimizing inventory levels, and working with cross-functional teams and third-party service providers to align supply chain plans with business objectives.
In addition, the following tasks await you:
- Ensuring the monthly replenishment process (supply orders are planned and processed) including management and optimization of trucks logistics, resources to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor orders from MIS, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards and coordinate deliveries with relevant business priorities.
- Ensure efficient stock management and maximizing Product Availability: regular analysis of SKU’s turnover; excessive stock and proactive follow-up with recommendations of concrete action.
- Generate reports to measure and improve supplier performance and product availability.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders internally and externally across the Supply Chain & related Departments like: Warehousing, Demand Planning, Commercial, Marketing, IT teams to streamline operations and improve overall supply chain performance.
- Manage processes related to MIS deliveries, supporting MM Warehouses and Commercial initiatives (like claims, product data, assortment activation).
- Coordinate ordering according to opportunistic buying and selling activities with the Commercial department.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Playing an integral part in improving existing Supply Chain processes and take ownership in projects to optimize systems and collaboration along the Metro Markets Supply Chain and with Metro International Supplier.
- Prepare instructions, procedures, etc. for process standardization and optimization.
This is a permanent full-time position that based in our Dusseldorf office with possibility partially work remotely.
