Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and operation of the e-Commerce platform in the Netherlands, focusing on the hospitality, catering industries, and other entrepreneur like independent grocery shop.
- Drive strategic partnerships and build strong relationships with sellers, vendors, customers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with central teams (Marketing, Commercial, Operations) to ensure effective execution and maximized impact of market activities.
- Foster a strong partnership with local wholesale operations to integrate the online marketplace effectively as an embedded third channel of METRO next to the wholesale stores and Food Service Distribution (FSD) channel.
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, providing guidance, removing obstacles, and enhancing team performance.
- Take full operational profit and loss (PnL) accountability, aligning with our European business model.
- Monitor customer experience and collaborate on product development insights to continuously improve the service.
