Accounts Receivable Specialist (m/f/d)

  • We are seeking an experienced and driven Accounts Receivable (AR) Process Owner to join our finance team. In this role, you will take ownership of our AR processes across multiple revenue channels and payment service providers. You’ll play a crucial part in designing scalable workflows, improving reconciliation accuracy, and driving cross-functional collaboration. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a hands-on mindset who enjoys building processes from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and design AR processes across various revenue streams including PSP transactions (Adyen, PayPal), seller commissions, reseller sales, refunds, and dunning flows.
  • Lead the development of a robust reconciliation framework, ensuring full traceability of receivables from order to cash and addressing discrepancies efficiently.
  • Act as the key AR point of contact for PSPs, managing integrations, settlement tracking, and issue resolution related to incoming payments and transaction fees.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FinOps, ERP, Data, and Marketplace teams to streamline data flows, support audit readiness, and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying automation opportunities and supporting the rollout of scalable, future-proof AR solutions.

You've got
  • 5+ years experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations, or similar role in e-commerce or   digital marketplaces
  •  Proven knowledge of Adyen and PayPal transaction flows and reconciliation best practices.
  •  Strong understanding of multi-channel receivables, refund handling, chargebacks, and financial   reporting.
  •  Experience building or improving AR reconciliation frameworks in a complex, multi-system   landscape.
  •  Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial risk related to receivables.
  •  strong and advance knowledge on excel and power - Experience with SAP and Power BI reporting   tools.
  •  Understanding of marketplace commission models, seller transactions, and refund workflows.
  •  Experience in internal audits or compliance projects related to financial data integrity.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work with incomplete or manual data.
  • Proactive communicator who can lead workshops and align multiple stakeholders.
  •  Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced, and changing environment.
