About the Order Lifecycle Team
The OLC team is the backbone of our post-checkout experience. We ensure that order data is available, secure, and transitions smoothly based on buyer and seller actions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the order state machine and facilitating data exchange between buyers and sellers.
- Maintaining comprehensive order history and delivery/return tracking.
- Developing and supporting the order public API and webhooks for sellers.
- Overseeing order functionality in both the Seller Office and Backoffice.
- Build and maintain Seller Account Health metrics, including building optimized ClickHouse queries to serve aggregated data to the frontend UI.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead & Empower: Mentor and support a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and inclusive environment.
- Drive Technical Vision: Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance on architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.
- Deliver Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end development of projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, high-quality, and delivered on time.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate strategic business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Optimize Processes: Continuously refine service design, engineering methodologies, and team workflows to boost efficiency.
- Mitigate Risk: Proactively identify technical challenges and operational risks, proposing effective solutions before they impact delivery.
